Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 24, 2026 Last Updated: July 24, 2026
1. Introduction
Hire410 (“Hire410,” “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an online directory and connection platform through which community members can discover and communicate with independent professionals and other users.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and the privacy choices available to you.
Hire410 is a technology platform and connection tool only. Hire410 does not provide, manage, supervise, endorse, verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for services offered or performed by users. References to churches or church communities identify user-provided affiliations and do not mean that a church sponsors, endorses, verifies, or assumes responsibility for Hire410, any user, or any service.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Hire410 website, applications, communications, and related services that link to this Policy.

C. Location Information
Hire410 may collect or infer an approximate location from information such as your ZIP code or IP address to provide geographically relevant search results.
If Hire410 requests access to precise device location, we will request permission through your device or browser before collecting it. You may withdraw location permission through your device or browser settings, although some location-based features may no longer function correctly.
D. Church-Affiliation Information
Information identifying a church or religious-community affiliation may reveal religious beliefs and may be treated as sensitive personal data under applicable law.
Providing this information is voluntary unless it is required for a particular Platform feature. Where required by applicable law, Hire410 will obtain your consent before processing sensitive personal data. You may withdraw that consent by removing the information, changing your settings where available, or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
Church affiliation is displayed or used only according to the Platform’s features, applicable profile settings, and this Privacy Policy. Affiliation does not constitute verification, approval, endorsement, or recommendation by Hire410 or any church.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
• Create, authenticate, and maintain accounts
• Display user and professional profiles
• Provide search, directory, location, communication, and community features
• Connect users who choose to communicate with one another
• Process user-submitted church or community affiliations
• Send account, security, support, and service-related communications

We will not process personal information for a materially different purpose without providing appropriate notice and obtaining consent when required by law.
4. Profile Visibility and User-Directed Disclosures
Information placed in a profile, post, comment, review, or other visible area may be accessible to other users or visitors according to the Platform’s features and your available settings.
Your profile may include information such as your name, photograph, church affiliation, profession, skills, business contact information, portfolio, reviews, and other information you choose to display.
You are responsible for deciding what information to publish. Do not place private or sensitive information in publicly or community-visible areas.
When you contact another user, that user will receive the information and content you choose to share. Hire410 does not control how another user uses information received directly from you. Users remain subject to applicable law and Hire410’s agreements and policies.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
Hire410 does not sell personal information for money.
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
A. Other Users and Visitors
Information may be displayed to users or visitors according to your activity, profile settings, and the design of the Platform.

C. Churches or Community Administrators
Where Hire410 offers a church- or community-related administrative feature, limited information may be disclosed to an authorized administrator when you request or use that feature. Such disclosure does not mean that the church verifies, approves, recommends, supervises, or assumes responsibility for you or any service.
D. Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may preserve or disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:
• Comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, warrant, preservation request, or other valid legal process
• Respond to an emergency involving a credible threat to life or physical safety
• Investigate fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, or a security incident
• Enforce our agreements and policies
• Protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Hire410, our users, churches, service providers, or others
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
E. Business Transactions
If Hire410 is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
F. With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
6. Messages and Communications
Hire410 may provide tools that allow users to communicate. We may process and retain message content, sender and recipient information, timestamps, reports, and related technical data to operate messaging features, maintain security, investigate reports, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.
Hire410 does not guarantee that messages are private, confidential, secure, monitored, preserved, or available indefinitely. Users should not use Hire410 messaging to exchange financial credentials, medical records, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Hire410, maintain security, prevent fraud and misuse, resolve reports or disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Our general retention periods are:
• Account information: Retained while the account remains active and ordinarily deleted or anonymized within 90 days after account closure.
• Messages: May be retained for up to 12 months following the last activity associated with the conversation.
• Reports, safety records, complaints, and dispute-related information: May be retained for up to three years after the matter is closed.
• Security, diagnostic, and access logs: Retained for a reasonable period based on security and operational needs.
• Consent and privacy-request records: Retained as reasonably necessary to document compliance and respond to legal claims.
• Financial, tax, and corporate records: Retained for the period required by applicable law.
We may retain specific information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with a valid preservation request, subpoena, court order, applicable law, regulatory inquiry, or reasonably anticipated or existing legal claim.
Information stored in backups may remain until the applicable backup is overwritten or deleted through our standard backup-deletion cycle. During that period, backup information will not ordinarily be restored except for disaster recovery, security, or legal purposes.
We may retain aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.
However, no website, application, transmission, database, or storage system is completely secure. Therefore, Hire410 cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials and for promptly notifying Hire410 if you suspect unauthorized account access.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state or country of residence and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
• Confirm whether we process your personal information
• Access personal information associated with you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete personal information
• Obtain a portable copy of certain information
• Withdraw consent to processing sensitive personal data
• Opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or profiling activities, where applicable
• Appeal the denial of a privacy request
• Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right
Hire410 does not sell personal information for money. If our practices change in a manner that creates an additional opt-out right, we will update this Policy and provide the legally required choice.
To submit a request, email support@hire410.org with the subject line Privacy Request.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority to make the request. We will use verification information only to process and document the request.
Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and may ask the consumer to verify the request directly.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing support@hire410.org with the subject line Privacy Appeal. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Texas residents may submit unresolved privacy complaints to the Texas Attorney General.
Certain information may be retained despite a deletion request when retention is legally permitted or required, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.
10. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion through available account settings or by contacting support@hire410.org.
Deleting an account may not immediately remove:
• Content already shared with or independently retained by another user
• Information another user submitted about their own experience
• Information required for safety, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance
• Deidentified or aggregated information
• Information temporarily remaining in backups
Where legally required or operationally appropriate, Hire410 may anonymize information instead of deleting it.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Hire410 may use cookies, local storage, pixels, software-development kits, and similar technologies to:
• Maintain sessions and login status
• Remember preferences
• Protect accounts and prevent misuse
• Measure Platform usage and performance
• Diagnose errors
• Improve features and user experience
You may control cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of Hire410 from functioning.
Additional information is available in the Hire410 Cookie Policy.
12. Analytics and Third-Party Services
Hire410 may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, maps, communications, authentication, infrastructure, and technical support. These services may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies and their agreements with Hire410.
Links to third-party websites, professional websites, church websites, maps, payment services, social networks, or other external resources are provided for convenience. Hire410 does not control and is not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.
You should review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing information to it.
13. Do Not Track and Preference Signals
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to these signals, Hire410 does not currently respond to traditional Do Not Track signals.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, Hire410 will process that signal as required for the browser or device transmitting it.
14. Children’s Privacy
Hire410 is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information, we may suspend or delete the account and remove the information, subject to applicable legal and safety obligations.
A parent or legal guardian who believes that a minor has provided personal information should contact support@hire410.org.
15. International Users
Hire410 is operated from the United States. If you access Hire410 from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you reside. Where required, we will use legally recognized safeguards for international data transfers.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal obligations, or Platform features.
When changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting a prominent notice, updating the “Last Updated” date, or sending an account communication.
Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise. Continued use alone will not replace consent when the law requires affirmative consent.
